They offered a 50% discount for government employees. That was furloughed and going to get paid. They never offered this for any local business employees losing their job.

I’ve been to Peerless many times over the years, but my visit last weekend was not enjoyable. We waited a very long time to get our food and my prime rib was terrible! Should have sent it back, but it was so late I didn’t want to delay the rest of my party. Meat was over cooked and very little of it was edible...seemed to be the ‘pieces/parts’ leftover from other cuts. Others in my group also had over cooked prime rib, but theirs was at least edible. Disappointing for an expensive meal.

Maria, I'm sorry that you did not have a good visit however, I spoke with our manager and he said that he remembers going to your table to bring the food back to be checked and nothing was found, also most all of it was eaten but he still gave you a coupon to use at a return visit. I have never been to a restaurant where I have been treated so poorly. The food was over priced for the quality. The display of the food was poorly executed. We waited 15 min just to get a glass of water. When food was finally served, they came out with a lukewarm appetizer. When my fiancé addressed the manager, he either got a poor excuse or an insincere apology. The first time we went to Peerless it was wonderful. But this time not so much. The server looked tired and was indifferent and the food was awful for the price. I had a chicken dish and it was dry and almost inedible not to mention seriously over priced. This is a place with a lot of potential but it is not being realized. A shame. I wont be back.
