I've grown up going to Peebles BBQ. We live in Lakeland and it's always worth a short trip for the awesome rib dinner. You can't go wrong. You're NOT going for the fine atmosphere, you're going for the awesome food. I highly recommend the full rib dinner. If you finish it all, you won't go home hungry.
Order the ribs and the slaw. Chopped pork is also great
We went yesterday around 2. Ordered when we got there, took it to go. Ordered ribs, chicken, and beef. The ribs and chicken were both very dry. Beef was the best. All meat had good smoke flavor but two of the three were extremely dry. Wanted to love it, but found it fell short of hitting the mark.
Grew up eating Peebles it's my favorite BBQ I got to take my daughter last night for the first time I'm always telling my friends about it
I am a BBQ fanatic, we heard about it a few years ago and finally made it, totally wonderful the ribs had just the right smoke not too much like some places and so tender the meat just came off the bone, the chopped pork was excellant great flavor amazing, love the beans, coleslaw and the potatoe salad, so cute two slices of bread on top. So worth every penny!!!!!
