Pediatrix is the WORST PLACE IN THE WORLD to take your kid! After 6 years, I'm kicking myself for not taking my child to another pediatrician sooner. These doctors are rude, unintelligent and uncaring. If you have a sick child, they would rather chastise you about social concerns for your child rather than the life threatening disease at hand. If your child needs a referral for urgent surgery, they will not return your phone calls and simply leave you hanging. All in all, as soon as my daughter is better, I'll be looking for... read more
Not friendly & doctors are mediocre The front staff is unproffessional and flat out incompetent most of the time. I havehad unpleasant experiances on the last 3 visits. I will be looking for a new doctor. On the upside, the have convienent hours.
Have been good until lately Pediatrix makes a trip to the doctor comfortable for the children. Their office is very child friendly and colorful. The facilities are clean. On the down side.... My daughter was injured and we needed a referral. Someone in the office forgot to make the referral and we had to wait an extra week before our specialist appointment!
Dr. Mitra Is amazing My doctor saw my daughter when she was 6 days old because she was lethargic. I called and they said call 911 or bring her in if you think it will be faster. I lived around the corner so I brought her in. Dr. Mitra and his staff rushed her in to a room checked her called 911 and pulled out the crash cart.. My baby was dying. Everyone in his office was amazing. They air evacted my daughter that morning to st. joes...around noon Dr. Mitra came to the hospital on his lunch ( St joes was not one of his hospit... read more
Go to Whispering Wind! I have been very pleased with Dr. Mitra and others at the Whispering Wind location. They have been helpful and great to work with. I have never felt rushed or unimportant. When I had a health concern for one of my daughters, the doctor that we saw went out of her way to fax me an article about our concern for more info. Another daughter of mine had a rare illness. When the diagnosis could not be easily made, there were two doctors there with medical books open, genuinely concerned over my daughter. The... read more
