Robert Barsoda is a very caring Nurse. He did all he could do to take care of my husband.
Mom had spine surgery. Some nurses treated her horrible. She was a fall risk. Kept trying to talk her into leaving made her feel like shit every day. Left her unwatched with no support with walking. I had to make them change her bandage, take her cathider(sp) out, they NEVER change her bloody sheets. Let ivy leak without fixing that until i told them to. Never paid attention to when she needed medication. And i thought elkhart general was bad. Never again. But her dr was amazing.
To all the nurses and doctors at St. Joe, you are amazing. I had the worlds best experience yesterday with an unexpected appendicitis, and surgery. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. You made a very stressful and unexpected event something i was able to get through and know what was happening or going to happen at all times! Thank you again for everything you do!
Nurses are gr8..,5 outta the8 e.r. visit my family had were all missed handled and misdiagnosed. The director of emergency medicine is a cold who gives a fuk attitude and im only here for a pay check...this is just my xperience,and opinion. Nurses gr8...doctors in the E.R. sux.500 million dollar hospital to do and act the same way they were b4 they moved to mishawaka

Great staff in ER, surgery and Pediatric unit! Very caring, thorough and comforting staff that took care of my son. Would recommend this hospital to anyone!
Rude nurses & be prepared to take care of yourself while here. They hardly come in to check on you & you have to ask for whatever it is you would like more then twice before it's finally remembered. They explain things to you like you are stupid.
