Had knee surgery there in Sept. And had very good care
After going to egh numerous times St Joe finally discovered that I have sarcoidosis. They were also extremely great with my son when he had horrible croup and could barely breathe. They rushed him right to the back. Love this hospital
My brother was told by one doctor he would be discharged to find a free clinic with a life threatening infection, possible cancer, & a history of Crohn's, all because he had no money (& a nonconventional style included dreadlocks) after we spoke with hospital administrators they apologized and the care improved but I still do not trust this hospital & it took too long to call in specialist for a 30 year old with a life threatening problem. I took my 2 year old daughter in last night. We have faught a fever of 102 all weekend. Finally took her in as she staeted complaining her head and throat hurt. We received that down right WORST care ever. The doctor refused to listen to my daughters complaints of her throat hurting. He said "2 year olds don't comprehend the meaning of hurt". Took my 7yr old daughter there tonight. Everyone, starting at check in until were released, did a great job. My girl was very scared and nervous but they immediately made her fears disappear. Dr. Harley was great with her...perfect bedside manner. Thank you all for making this scary experience not scary. In and out time was 1hr 20min which is excellent!
