They were most caring The doctors n nurses had our trust
I always have had the worse experience ever here. They always let other people go in the back that were there after me and ive always waited 2 plus hours to even go in a room i will NEVER go there again its exactly why i stopped taking my son there. They only care if you have insurance or medicade and can care less about the ones who dont. I waited for 3 hours yesterday and was told that they didn't call my name till after an hour of being gone thats 4 hours i would have been waiting for sharp pains ive had in my back for 3 ... read more
I was sent there from med point. Got there about 6:30pm did not leave till 12:30 am. My exchange student had got hit in the face with softball. We got called to have vitals done after about 20min wait. After about 2 hr they wanted a urine sample then took her for a ct scan. Then waited about an hour was finally taken to a room. Which again we sat & waited. They didn't clean any blood off till about a 1/2 hr before they released us. There was a line of people to get registered & only 1 person doing it. Great doc. Great nurse. The rest of the staff is terrible. Pushed the call light 3 times for pain meds and the message was never relayed to the nurse or doc. Same scenario last time. Asked for blankets. Took an hour after asking 4 people. But I'm sure the bill will be on time.
Very disappointed in er nurse Shelly. Not surprised hospital believed her over me. However, my trust is broken. After visiting the er Shelly was very cold and callous. When I called the next morning she got an attitude and hung up. During the call she asked where my daughter went to school and obtained my name and date of visit. Within an hour the police department was knocking on my door and the school is saying DCS is inquiring. Out of the 200 staff I met in a overnight stay they were all great with a smile. Must be tough interviewing and find that many great people. Good job St Joe
5 hours in the emergency room. Finally just left. Will go to Memorial.
