Just switched to this pediatrician for my 9 month old son and we saw Dr. Schaeffer today. She is so reassuring and thorough. She really takes her time and gets to know the patient and she was a pleasantly refreshing change from the last pediatrician we saw before. My son is on the smaller side, and for the first time i heard his dr say its just his genetics (which we already knew), instead of hearing that i need to up his calories, switch to expensive formulas, or add more feedings.. none of which have worked. We've seen all of the physicians but we regularly see Dr. Kempthorne for well visits for our two kids. I could not ask for a better pediatrician. I appreciate the attention she (and all of the Doctors) give us and our kids. I have always felt like we have been able to discuss our kids healthcare and determine what is best for them specifically, and not just follow "standard practice" because not all kids fit the same mold. I've been coming here since my daughter was born some doctors have come and gone, but everyone is njce, I've always been fit in if my daughter is sick asap!
