My name is Thomas Joe Mayes. On Wednesday April 12, 1989 Dr. Jerry W.Oakes was at Duke University in Durham North Carolina. He performed surgery on me. Now for the past 36 years I Thank Dr. Oakes for what he did to help me. Dr. Oakes THANK YOU. You definitely get a 10 STAR REVIEW from me. By the way Dr. Oakes I met your son Dr. Clifford Oakes at UVA medical Center. I told him about you doing surgery on me.
When I was 2 years old in 1980, I was referred to Duke for an arachnoid cyst. Dr. Oakes was the neurosurgeon that took on the complicated task of my condition. It went great! To this day, I have had zero problems! Thank you Dr. Oakes
