Every time I come to this office I swear to myself that this will be the last time. Appointments NEVER on time. Come early...wait. Come late...wait. Patients sign in and go straight to the back. No communication. I haven't seen Dr. Hood in about 5 years. They get a new doctor and nurses every year.
****IF YOU CHILD/CHILDREN MEAN ANYTHING TO YOU READ THIS POST****!!!!!!! THE NURSES IN THIS OFFICE (PEDIATRIC CENTER FOR WELLNESS) ARE NOT PATIENT WITH CHILDREN. MY SON WAS SEEN IN THIS OFFICE TODAY FOR HIS 24 MONTH OLD SHOTS THE NURSE (KATRINA) I WOULD SAY CARED FOR MY SON , BUT SHE DID EVERYTHING BUT CARE FOR MY CHILD. SHE BARELY HAD HIM ON THE TABLE GOOD BEFORE SHE TRIED TO GIVE HIM HIS SHOTS WHEN I MENTIONED TO HER HE ISNT ON THE TABLE GOOD SHE PUSHED HIS LEGS OVER LIKE SHE WAS UPSET OR IN A RUSH. I heard great things about the practice, but we had an issue with every visit ranging from frequent billing errors, children's medical records were never uploaded into the clinics system, and long wait times. Most recently requested immunization records and was provided with expired documentation. We've since found another practice and our experience has been much better!

Best pediatric office in the area! Dr. Hood is simply the best. She always has time to listen to all my concerns. I wouldn’t trust my children’s care to anyone else!
If you’re looking to be seen in a timely fashion in regards to your appointment time, this is NOT the place for you!! As I type this, it is 3:15. My appointment was scheduled for 2:30. Not only have I NOT been seen, but I’ve watched at least FIVE people get seen ahead of me who came AFTER me!! This is not an isolated incident either, and at this point, it’s very clear I need to find a new pediatrician for my children. New Patient appointment on a Wednesday at 1:15. Came with completed paperwork, when I arrive the door is locked with a sign that states they’ll return from lunch at 1:30. Sat in the car until 1:30, signed in at 1:32, first on the list. At 2:05 I get up to ask what’s going on and they say that they can’t find a history in the GA medical database, had they asked they would know we just moved here from PA. 2:20 we FINALLY get called back. NP Mimi was awesome, very informative and friendly. 2:54 and we’re pulling off.
