Terrible, unprofessional, and lacking compassion. Avoid at all costs. Extremely rude office staff.
I love Dr. Shmalo. My son kept complaining about stomach problems and three other pediatricians (over a 6 year period) dismissed his complaints and told him that he had heartburn. Dr. Shmalo is the only one who took him seriously and ran tests. It turns out that my son was having kidney problems. Because he's so awesome, we followed Dr. Shmalo when he moved his practice from Greenwood to Avon. I gladly drive the 30-60 minutes to see him.
Dr. Gill was very sweet to my children when I started taking them. But once we were established patients, she became abrupt, rushed, interrupted, and when I called the after hours emergency number, due to a true emergency, she was on call and made it clear that she was put out and very rude. We switched to Dr. Cosgrove and he was better, just not a good fit for our family. Our children have been patients of Dr. Duck McIntire for quite some time, and we couldn't be more pleased.
