Dr. Althoff is THE pediatrician to have care for your child. He is extremely patient, takes his time in the room making sure to answer every question you may have and thoroughly checks your child. I fully trust him and his advice and couldn't ask for anyone better.
We have been patients of Dr. Clark since I was born (I'm 34 and three younger cousins and now my daughter are all patients). Nurse Laura is another family favorite. Dr. Clark helped diagnose and treat my very rare illnesses as well. We love this practice!
Called to try to get my son in to see his Dr. (who has been his Dr for over 7 years) this morning for his horrible cough and was told because he had not had a well check up in over a year he could not be seen for an illness until he had a physical. I am baffled as to how a physical next week (first opening) is beneficial to my child who is sick today... absolutely horrendous customer service and zero compassion. I have to say that Dr. Tatum turned out to be one of the most unpleasant doctors I have ever met. When we started taking our 2 month old daughter there we were met with a man who was all business. He was not personal at all. The impersonal nature alone is not enough to deter me from him. Some people like the ultra-sappy personal touch and others don't. I don't care either way. Best pediatric practice in the Reno/Sparks area. Staff and doctors are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.
Dr. Althoff is the very best! My twins are now 13 and have been with him since day 1. My son was born with Neurofibromatosis and Dr. Althoff let us know immediately what he suspected so we could get the best treatment/intervention for our son. When our son tested positive for a chromosomal abnormality (that was ordered by my son's endocrinologist), he personally called me in the evening and told me what he could about the abnormality. I wouldn't trust my kids any where else.
Our family loves Doctor Althoff & Nurse Julie! They are great with children birth through teen. We enjoy each & every visit with them & trust them in caring for our five children. We give 5 stars but would give much more if there were more stars to give!
Love Dr. Tatem. Always smiling when he see's us. I had the opportunity to do a medical Mission with Dr. Tatem a few years ago in Baja California. It was amazing seeing him go above and beyond to provide care for all those in need.
