Never used their services but their average ratings speaks for the behaviours I encountered today. I was waiting for a car to move so I could reverse into a parking spot but temporarily (30 secs) my ca blocked their driveway which by the way did not cause any inconvenience as no one was waiting to drive in or out. Contacted Pedders Blacktown for a wheel alignment. The man was rude and unprofessional. Told me it would be $300.00 for a wheel alignment. I then contacted a different pedders who were lovely and happy to help saying the price was $160. After reading the other reviews there is a clear attitude and professionalism problem with this pedders. Don’t waste your time.
I contacted Pedders Blacktown to book their advertised $28 brake and suspension check after being referred by my regular mechanic. When they called me back, I was told “we don’t appreciate doing the work of other mechanics.” I was surprised that a basic advertised service would be refused simply because it came via a referral, so I took my business elsewhere. I went to pedders for a supply and install lift kit. This was fine, however they called me after the job and told me I was in need of a complete steering rack replacement to the point where they could not even complete a wheel alignment for me. This full replacement would be a big extra cost. I went and got a second and third opinion and both said steering rack was completely fine and were able to perform a wheel alignment with no issues.
