I must agree with all the recent unhappy residents here. We have been here at pear tree apartments for almost 4 years now. I can honestly say that living at PearTree Apartments has been increasingly frustrating over the past year. One of the biggest issues is parking. Management recently started charging residents $50/month for an extra parking spot for one-bedroom units when it was free of charge to have 2 vehicles before. notice how all the recent reviews of this place are negative- except ones that it seems are either fake or incentivized reviews. investment concepts(company that owns the complex) is money hungry and has no problem charging you for more in the middle of your lease for things like parking or access to the clubhouse. roaches everywhere and management is terrible, the temporary guy here "kevin" is so corporate and heartless in his replies to residents and their concerns that he may as well be a robot. If I could give zero stars, I would. I don’t usually write reviews, but this one needs to be shared. If you’re considering moving into Peartree Apartments, read this carefully. The reviews online are not a true reflection of what you’re actually signing up for. Let me start with the only consistently positive thing about living here: the maintenance guy. Besides the parking situation as mentioned by multiple people, I want to highlight the screaming kids. There's a lady who runs a baby sitting/daycare business and throughout the day there are screaming kids that are extremely disruptive running around the community. The management sent out letters of regulating apperance of not having certain things for display on the porches (no hanging lights, bbq grill, etc) but do something about regulating the kids. The noise disturbance is frequent and constant.
I’ve lived at this apartment complex for several years, and unfortunately, the quality of management and resident experience has significantly declined since new management took over. One of the biggest frustrations has been the ongoing parking situation. Not only is there a shortage of spots, but the way it's being handled now feels out of touch and unfair.
