Imagine stepping into an office that smells like expired grapefruit La Croix, wet Corduroy, and unresolved childhood issues. That’s how my appointment with Dr. Meg—oops I mean “she-who-can’t-slip-Freud” began. The exam room smelled faintly of Vicks VapoRub and a candle called “therapy didn’t work”.
