Took pair of semi-rimless glasses to Pearl Vision Panama City Beach due to the thread which holds the lens in place breaking. After waiting almost an hour and witnessing 3 employees attempting to fix my glasses they finally returned them to me. I noticed what I thought was a smudge on one of the lens but didn't look at it closely at the store. I purchased two pairs of glasses on October 29th at the Pearle Vision, 11570 Panama City Beach, FL 32407. The first pair (FYSH) we’re perfect when I picked them up on Nov. 2019, however, the lenses of the other pair (VERSACE) were scratched. Donna could not see the scratch on the right lense, Denise could & pointed it out to her. They told me they would fix them. Pearl Vision of Panama City Beach could improve their services by hiring techs who are willing to be informative, and willing to work with customers.
This location is NOT a corporate Pearle Vision anymore...So that means they do NOT honor Pearle Vision coupons or discounts and they do NOT accept most insurances. They also charge full price for exams even when purchasing glasses. I recommend shopping around for a better, cost effective option.
Today was my first app. I was called 2 hrs before appointment and gave my insurance information. I arrived 10 minutes early and still waited 40 min before being seen. My exam was efficient(25 minutes), upon completion they told me that my exam wasn't covered under my insurance plan-it wasn't covered until June. I feel that they totally scammed me to pay full price when I could have waited the 2 wks. Be wary of these people.
