This is the worst mental health facility in Colorado. The staff which.includes assessment, intake especially, a woman named J...., awful in patient care and incompetent doctors for starters. Do not bring your loved ones here. There are much better options outside of Colorado Springs. The area is -1 stars as this facility is. The intake people have no empathy for the caregivers as they were notorious for putting your daughter back in your hands . I wish I could say more. Jamie was responsible for waiving my stepdaughter into ... read more

Re: Complaint Nurse Ashley handed my wife Angelic Marie Bully and involuntary commitment form but this facility didn't offer Angelic the Right to voluntary Sign the extended stay in form so that caused it to go to the courts. Ashley and this facility assumed and presumptuously said that Angelic refused but Angelic Never refused to sign the involuntary commitment extended stay. This unethical misconduct from Ashley and this facility is a violation of Angelic Marie Bully's due process and 14th amendment protection rights. This... read more

Complaint This complaint is on the Therapist name Donelle. I spoke with Donelle today 08/05/23 around 3pm about setting up a familiar plan meeting for my wife Angelic Bully's release planning but Donelle's attitude was rude and nasty. First of all she never told me her name so that's was very unprofessional and that sent red flags then during the conversation she sounded very irritated and short with me as if she didn't want me to ask any questions. I'm very concerned about my wife's well being during her stay there and I'm ... read more

Unit 400 is nothing more than incarceration. The mh techs close themselves off, tell the patients to leave them alone so they can gossip with each other & complain to people locked up 24/7 about how they can't wait to go home at end of shift. Techs fail to follow the treatment schedule posted and good luck hearing from the patient advocate. Plywood beds & 3" mattresses. Coed with criminals & the doors have no latches to close. Four 15 min breaks outside with smokers (good luck quitting - they give house cigarettes). Don't lo... read more

If you are placed on a 72 hour hold, the staff will attempt to trick you into signing in voluntarily at the end of that time period. Legally, they have to let you go. The only reason that my spouse was let go was because I did the research and let them know that I knew what our rights were. Also, if this happens to a loved one, don't expect them to call you and let you know that they have your relative. The only reason that I knew what was going on was because my spouse was able to get a quick call in to me before they c... read more

My loved one had a good experience here, well as good as it can be considering they were in a psych facility. I wish folks wouldn’t leave such negative reviews, it really stigmatizes the whole getting help. I think expectations are pretty unrealistic for most people. And it’s a bummer, but only people with poor experiences are likely to leave a review. We have had experience with 4 psych hospitals in the state and this has been by far the best. This is from a dad and our daughter

Have always had a positive experience. They help with mental health and substance abuse.

I have to question the sources of those critical reviews (perhaps disguised from a competitor?) because in all my experiences at Peak View they were very benefitial and most of all peaceful and relaxing. Nobody likes to go to a psyche hospital, but I come down from Denver because I like the place. The beds are too hard, but other than that it's a friendly, safe, and caring facility. I suffer from type 1 bipolar disorder and when I'm manic psychotic, I've got to know that I can trust the staff and security of the facility. I ... read more

My good friend is currently in there. Nobody has heard from her in a week. Not even her family. They won't let anyone speak to her at all. When we called, the phone just rang and rang. Finally someone answered and not explain their policy. They just hung up. Based.on the reviews I see here, I can only imagine the worst.I would never allow a friend or loved one inside this obvious insurance prison.
