Screwed bad single mom After a long conversation with Charlie the owner, I understand the situation and he actually did the right thing so my car would not get seized. My situation is still bleak but if Charlie was able to stay in business i know he would have helped the best he could. So if he gets back in business I would consider him for a transmission repair as long as he is running the show.
Charlie is a dream come true! As a southern girl I find it hard to find good honest mechanics around town. I had a transmission previously rebuilt and unfortunately it did not hold up well. I called around and the first time I spoke with Charlie I was comfortable and I trusted him! He was quick and made sure that my SUV was running great when I left. His prices were great, I will recommend him to everyone I meet! When you pick up your cars/trucks make sure to bring cookies or a kit kat. :D Thanks Charlie!
disappointed potential customer We arrived last saturday the 17th around 10am for service ready to drop off our vehicle. We checked the hours of operation before heading out and it says open Sat's (which was confirmed but the sign on their front door). When we arrived, nobody was there...um, not good for business.
Excellent Business and Staff Charlie and Lyle are wonderful people to do business with. They have rebuilt two transmissions for me over the past month and although I was unlucky in that regard I was very lucky to come across these folks. Their work is excellent and the transmissions in both vehicles are running smoothly again. Their pricing is very competitivie and it was a pleasure to do business with them. I highly recommend Peak to Peak Transmission to anyone having problems such as these.
Excellent Service! Everything about Peak to Peak was exactly how it should be! They had a quick quote, had my car out before I knew it, and the price didn't change. Shocked at the Rudeness! Unbelievably rude. I honestly cannot tell you about their work on transmissions directly, because they never even got me as a customer. I called up on the phone to ask some questions about some of the noises my Ford Ranger Transmission was making, and he literally insulted me! He become incredibly upset, accused me of "setting him up for failure," etc. I even apologized to him for anything I had done to upset him, and he kept ranting on me. Transmission rebuild I have to tell the honest truth here, this place is fantastic. Customer service is above the rest, my Jeep runs better than before I even had trouble with the transmission. This place saved me time and money. I will be sure to use them again.
Trust Charlie and Peak to Peak Charlie does the best work for the least amount of money at the fastest rate. Fixed my saturn and my girlfriend's acura. Both run excellent and we havnt had any problems. Charlie beat all quotes from several people and had my car back to me the next day. My girlfriends car took a little longer however that was no problem becuase he put her in a free rental. wouldnt trust anyone else with my car.
Vacation Nightmare We are from Illinois and made a trip to Colorado Springs in June. Apparently our Ford Windstar didn't like the hills. We lost our transmission on 24. We towed it to a local shop who wasn't able to accomodate. I call Charlie at Peak to Peak and he replied "I will pick it up from that shop right now for free and run a test then I'll let you know asap". We had no clue on any honest place in the Springs.
