Our Rottweiler was diagnosed at 7 months old with severe Hip Dysplasia. We were devastated to see our puppy in so much pain. We thought our only option was surgery. We met Dr. Gaynor and began to learn about Stem Cell treatment. Thanks to Dr. Gaynor, our boy is now 13 months old and running and jumping pain free for the first time in months. His guidance with pain meds and using Stem Cell has given us a very happy rambunctious pup. Thank you Dr. Gaynor.

Dr. Gaynor has helped our golden, Charlie, with his pain in his joints of all of his legs. He has evaluated him and worked to find the medications that allow Charlie to have an active life. I highly recommend Peak Performance Veterinary Group.

My dog Chloe has had bilateral orthopedic surgeries on her knees (equivalent of human knee replacements) over the past two years. Even with surgery, she was poorly ambulatory. It is very difficult to see something you love in significant pain daily. The majority of her life since I adopted her she has not been able to enjoy (let alone perform) normal dog activities (walks in the park, playing with her brothers or other dogs, etc). To top it off, I am a general practitioner small animal veterinarian. I had put her through phy... read more

Business response:

Dr. Brandenburg- Thank you for the very nice comments. I am very happy that Chloe has responded well and as expected. it brings me great pleasure to see our family members become happy through pain pain control. Let me know if I can help in any way. Dr. Jamie Gaynor

Dr. Gaynor and his accomplished veterinary technician, Diane, are providing the best care for my almost 14 year old pupper, Malmsey the Wonder Mutt, a GSD mix who suffers from arthritis in multiple joints. Both Dr. Gaynor and Diane have an excellent bedside manner for Malmsey and for me, and explain every detail of her treatment mechanisms to my satisfaction and understanding. I never feel rushed during our appointments. Dr. Gaynor has thoroughly and methodically evaluated Malmsey over the last year and has developed a non-i... read more

Business response:

Thank you very much for that kind review. We take great pleasure in helping Malmsey develop greater function and comfort plus the peace of mind it brings you. Let us know if we can help additionally in any way. Too you in 6 months!

Our two Norwegian Elkhounds needed help for various reasons. Shadow, our old boy age 13-1//2, had suffered from a broken back at the tender age of two and needed surgery. Over time, he developed severe arthritis around his hardware and his activity level had dropped when we retired him from climbing 14ers at age 11. Oslo, our 7-year old suffered from undiagnosed tremors and alternating lameness. He was suspected to have doggie Parkinson’s and he also had Limes Disease before. Oslo had gotten so bad that we weren’t sure if he... read more

After my 13 year old lab developed arthritis in her front elbow and could no longer take long walks due to a limp, my vet referred me to Dr Gaynor. Kloe had also had ACL surgery on both back legs earlier in her life also causing additional arthritis. Putting my 13 year old dog under twice in 3 days didn't sit real well with me, but Dr Gaynor was very convincing and confident we would be back to taking 1-2 mile walks so b/c Kloe still has a lot of energy for her age I decided it was worth a shot. We haven't taken a 2 mile wal... read more

Business response:

It is important to realize that stem cell therapy for dogs is a well researched and validated treatment for arthritis. The success rate is about 84 - 92 percent. Nothing is 100%. I always feel bad when a patient does not respond as expected. Many patients have only responded to stem cell therapy and minimally to other interventions. No pet owner should ever fell bad for trying a well validated therapy for a severely affected pet. I am always happy to answer any questions that pet owners may have about advanced arthritis ther... read more

I have had the great pleasure of working alongside Dr. Gaynor as a veterinarian myself. He has not only imparted and shared his wealth of knowledge to help me keep my patients comfortable and safe under anesthesia but he has treated my personal dog with stem cell therapy. Elbow dysplasia was an unexpected finding in my 5 year old Labrador Retriever. I opted to proceed with surgery to remove the bone fragment as it was already causing arthritic changes though my dog wasn’t symptomatic.... yet! I’m so thankful that Dr. Gaynor ... read more

Business response:

Lana- I am very happy happy Winston has responded as expected and has been doing well. Thanks for providing the feedback- Jamie G

Taj was 3 when I adopted her. She's now 5 and has had one TPLO done, will need the other done, and has arthritis in her both her knees and elbows. I thought she was destined to be my stroll around the local park buddy instead of the hikes we used to do, but then I met Dr. Gaynor. He was kind and patient with both Taj and I and gave me all of our options to manage her pain both acutely and long term. We opted for the stem cell/PRP/hyaluronic acid joint injections. I have seen a marked difference in Taj's demeanor, she's more ... read more

Business response:

Amy, I did check out your review on Yelp and responded there, but also wanted to take a moment here to say again how much I appreciate you bringing Taj to us for the quality care she deserves. We're always happy to help find the best options for your pet to push towards a pain-free, healthy lifestyle. Thank you! -J.S. Gaynor, DVM

I have known Dr. Gaynor for many years and through three Labradors-\-\starting with stem cell treatments on my black Lab, Macha, which was miraculous. A fine hunting dog, she was essentially incapacitated from arthritis at age six. Dr. Gaynor's treatment literally turned back the clock, and gave Macha three more solid years of pain-free happiness in the field, until cancer took her. This cemented my relationship with Dr. Gaynor, who I now consider one of the foremost experts on dogs in general, and pain management specifical... read more

Business response:

Tom- Thank you very much for the kind words. I am always happy to help you and the dogs. JG
