Our Crisis Stabilization Unit is open 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. We also have a Mobile Crisis Response Team stationed at this location and is also available 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. Our Outpatient Therapy and Psychiatry services at the Bartow Crisis Campus hours are Monday to Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

I have waited years to write this review so it wouldn’t be discredited as just a “teen with mental health issues.” I am now 25, a mother of two, and have received excellent care from outpatient therapists in another state for my CPTSD, depression, and anxiety disorder. Sadly, my experience at Peace River Crisis Center remains one of the most traumatizing events of my life. My time there was an extremely disconcerting one, as I witnessed the staff and patients engage in deplorable behavior that should have never taken place in a professional and therapeutic environment. I cannot comprehend how in a hospital setting – a place where patients are supposed to feel safe and receive the utmost care – such malicious and vile actions were allowed to transpire. I think this place is absolutely dumb. The way they treat patient is ironic the way they laugh at patients when they’re suffering and don’t believe them is ironic the staff treat you like you’re in prison. I’m not even joking. The moment I got there this one staff member. Was having an attitude with me and got mad at me because I misheard her over a pair of socks, and then they Really don’t clean their beds. Everything nice clean the staff are friendly and professional as well the therapist. I went with my 12 year old daughter as a walking they talk to her and we when the next day as they told us they just talk again about the same question and give a appointment… but I don’t understand why my daughter need to wait 2 weeks for the intake and then wait to see the psychiatric. When her psychologist send her for emergency treatment or stay hospitalized. I will update my review to see how goes.
MH patient was treated there several times. Always have had a positive experience. The staff are great.
