They first gave my 6 yr old daughter a pair of sunglasses and told her to raise her hand if she had any pain or problems, which was a good start. She did need shots for a filling. So they used numbing gel. The swab with the gel was put on her gums, immediately removed, and the shot was given. No time for the gel to absorb and help. The dental assistant had her hands over my daughters which didn't allow her to raise her hand. The sun glasses kept me from noticing any discomfort in her eyes. They are the best by far. My daughter was very scared of the dentist until i was referred to them . I highly recommend them. They are very professional and kind to the kids.
