The main draw of this building is the location. The elevator has had numerous breakdowns which is an inconvenience. The elevator is the only way to access the first-floor entrance, mailboxes, package room and gym. When the elevator is out, the only exits are via the 2 stairwells that lead out to the back parking lot, thus if you are arriving with packages you will need to go around back and walk up the stairs with your packages or go around to the front to access mail or package room. Made an appointment no one showed . After half hr i got a call. The agent came to show the apt. VERY dated. Elevator was loud. Seemed like it was on its last leg. Halls full of scuff marks. There are so many initial fees that are attached. The best part was they are turning it into condos so u make get kicked out in a year.
Would not recommend living here at all. Lived here for only one year and had 20+ service requests during the course of our lease. Upon moving in, the a/c did not work, we had no hot water, the bedroom and bathroom doors did not shut, the sinks were leaking, the washer had mold in it, a window was cracked, etc. Throughout our time living in the apartment, we faced numerous issues such as mold, bugs, broken washer and dryer, and a leaky roof, most of which we had to chase maintenance for weeks or months and were still not reso... read more
This "luxury" apartment building is a complete dumpster fire. My family lasted three weeks before we moved out. After living in countless apartments in NYC and the Capital District, I've never experienced such neglect. This place is so bad that the Saratoga Code Enforcement has had to get involved for two separate tenants in less than a few months. If you are at all sensitive to mold or dust, do not move here. The Perennial (and Prime) should be seriously looked at as it's nothing but a high-priced health hazard.
