Advances in plumbing-related fixtures and systems have led to many environmentally friendly products specifically for commercial buildings. Among these are tankless water heaters, automatic shut-off water faucets, low-flow toilets, and waterless urinals, all of which can reduce costs and ecological impact.

Legend likes to tell the story of Thomas Crapper, the inventor of the toilet. While Thomas was a successful plumber who patented a toilet design in the 1800s, that's not exactly where the name comes from. It became slang during WWII, when American soldiers saw the T. Crapper & Co. name on the side of toilets.

It can be easy to forget about everything that goes into making a system of water fountains, but there’s a lot behind just pressing the button to get a drink. Whether it’s indoor or outdoor, a commercial plumber can make sure you won’t have to worry about it.

Can you believe that Alfred Hitchcock's 'Psycho' (1960) was the first Hollywood film to show a toilet flushing? On TV, the first toilet appeared on the ABC sitcom Leave It to Beaver (1957-1963).
