Modern mosaic materials can be either natural or manmade. Natural materials include but are not limited to, marble, sea pebbles, shells, crystals, semi-precious stones and minerals, that all combine to create multi textual designs.

Although some building materials are produced in a sustainable fashion, you may discover that they’ll take up space in landfills at some point just the same as any other material. Glass tiles are truly different because glass can always be recycled into something new.
