He was very thorough, personable and had the task of getting up to speed on my case when my previous doctor had tragically passed way suddenly. High marks in my book! I met him having a surgical procedure.
I wasn’t privileged to see Dr. Tarnasky. He was first rate five years ago.
I was seen by a kind and apparently competent resident. The doctor never can all the way into the exam room. He never ask me any questions or examined me in any manner. He stood in the doorway and decried, as if from on high, that we were at the wrong type specialist. We were referred by a GP within the Methodist Medical system. He was the rudely cut off my wife when she tried to ask a question. We were so upset by him that my wife drove to the referring GP and related the experience. I have been seeing Dr. Tarnasky for several years. He is very knowledgeable and explains everything. He listens to me. I have received excellent care from him and his staff.
Dr Tarnasky has been treating my 91 year old mom for about 6 years. She has swallowing difficulties and he does a procedure about once a year. Even though my mom has a rare auto immune disorder Dr Tarnasky is very knowledgeable and skillful. He is very kind, empathic, straight forward and funny. He always takes time to explain our options and what his recommendations are. We live about 6 hours away from his office and he always accommodates our travel. Excellent care! Listens to me. Has guided my care in gastrointestinal issues over 20 years. I have no regrets. Cannot see where any treatment should have been any different. Dr. Tarnasky has gotten me through so many complications in this aspect of medicine. I would recommend him to any loved ones!
As long as he is practicing, he will be my GI doc! I live 3 hours away from his office and do televises and drive to Dallas when I need to. I am being treated by 2 different specialists and his office is SO helpful of helping me coordinate appointment so I can see both at one time! I would give he and his office 1000 stars!
First diagnosed my gall blatter about 20 years ago. Has done all my colonoscopies. Currently helping me investigate some liver issues.
Everything went well. He is very knowledgeable. Staff was friendly.
