I was referred to Dr Chervin because of head and neck pain possibly related to a Chiari Malformation diagnosis I received at 13. My PCP sent me to him to get updated imaging, but he refused, saying he “didn’t need imaging” because CM doesn’t change over time. After rushing through my symptoms and doing half a cranial nerve exam he said my CM was asymptomatic, there were no issues with CSF flow, and I was just having migraines.
