Dr. Tolentino and his staff are wonderful. They run the office with precision and efficiency. Dr. Tolentino and his staff are very knowledgeable, polite, and professional. Never once did I feel like I was being pressured into surgery. I was given all information and treatment options available. I would definitely recommend Dr. Tolentino to friends, family, and strangers alike! *I had a disc herniation at the L5 and S1 vertebrae. It was compressing the S1 nerve and it resulted in numbness. I tried PT, chiropractors, and a ste... read more

My visit with Dr. Tolentino was my final visit. I should not be alive today and thanks to him and my other doctors I am still alive. It has been 10 years since he did my surgery. He is a remarkable Dr. He has been so understanding and helpful through this process, and I was so blessed that he was my surgeon. I would and have recommended him to others.

Very unprofessional. Pretty much rushed through his review of my mri and sent me out the door. Would not let me a get a word in on what I was going through, didn’t even shut the door or sit down after he entered the room. Told me me there was no reason for me to be in pain after showing me my lower disc was almost completely degenerated. Last words were “good luck nice to meet you”. Would not wish this dr on my worst enemy!!!

I came to the RBS with terrible pain in my lower back. An MRI was reviewed and my problem was detected. I was shown the specific problem and explained what was needed to fix it. The surgery was scheduled rather quickly and I was fixed. Been mainly pain free since. During this time Dr.Tolentino and his staff were great. Cordial and respectful making sure I understood what was taking place and why.

Dr. Tolentino has performed the PLIF procedure on our backs and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. We were both in excruciating pain before the procedure and now feel like we have our normal life back. We followed his instructions, threw the pain pills away and started walking like he told us. It was difficult at first, but Jerry has reached a goal of 3 miles and I am up to 2 miles. Six months after my surgery, I walked in my first 5K and did great. We love the doctor and his office staff, especially Jake. He foll... read more

I'd rank him lower if it would let me. During this time of global crisis, paul chose to add on elective cases against the advice of the surgeon general, cdc, and american college of surgeons. I've been a nurse for a long time and Paul falsely claims these cases are emergent putting the hospital's supply of PPE at risk. While most surgeons around the country have cancelled cases, he has tried everything to add on surgeries. This puts not only staff at a higher risk but his patients. His "Ethics" are lacking at best.

Dr. Tolentino has operated on my back twice in the last 10 years and both times it was a complete success. I have heard stories of people going to other surgeons and having more problems after the surgery than before, but not Dr. Tolentino, he also will try all other avenues of treatment before recommending surgery. I sing his praises every chance I get and have recommended him to 2 people in the last month. He is a credit to his profession.
