I'm currently a hup and have been for 3 weeks. Today dr mathers took over as attending and he walked in to meet me and was very rude and disrespectful and inferred I'm a liar and kept throwing the fact that he was a doctor in my face in an attempt to belittle me and make me feel inferior to him in some way. A pitiful excuse for a professional, doctor and a human being. He should be ashamed of himself and so should penn for having him as a doctor
In 2001 I went into CHF I, was really sick with an extremely low EF. I was taking to Temple University Hospital where I first met Dr. Paul Mather. If it were not for his care I would be dead. Dr. Mather is my Cardiologist still. He is thorough with his care for his patients along with being straight forward and to the point. This doctor obviously has alot of experience and accolades which is why I came to him. However I would not recommend him and am currently seeking another cardiologist. He actually told me himself to find another doctor which was a first for me. As others have expressed in reviews I (and my mother) always felt rushed by him and that he wasn't interested in hearing what I had to say.
