Communicating with his office is a nightmare again since his nurse Devin quit in the beginning of May this year. My wife has been waiting since May 12th to get started on a new multiple sclerosis medicine. The office made a mistake on the presciption order and the specialty pharmacy can't fill it until it is corrected. I am sorry, but in this COVID-era, no matter the business, staff turnover happens. It too was a brand-new med with new paperwork, yet we did correct the problem as soon as we could. None of us are perfect, but we will continue as always to do our God-given best to serve our patients to the best of our ability. You can always count on our office for this. New staff have a learning curve yet we will achieve the training needed for them. Transition is simply unavoidable, esp in the current era
Dr. Buechel is an exceptional provider who listens to his patients. Additionally he makes very appropriate treatment recommendations and is willing to go the extra mile to help patients. These qualities are rarely found in today’s climate of healthcare providers. I personally can vouch for this being a provider myself. He merits more than five star rating IMHO-George Shwab, FNP-B
Dr Buechel was so nice during my procedure. Billing leaves a lot to be desired. They were not willing to help after I was charged an outrageous amount for the procedure. I was lead to believe by staff that the cost “wasn’t that bad” so I had it done. With a deductible of $6000+ I knew I would be paying out of pocket. Long story short the cash price is $300-$400. I am very sorry this occurred. However, we then had a skeleton crew on only, given the COVID-19 pandemic. We continued to work/assist our patients thru such, yet some things were delayed a few days. Billing was shorthanded, doing much added work in patient care duties,too. With the help of my excellent manager/billing team, we did however correct this issue & quickly reduced the bill to the cash price. In this crazy world of ever-changing medical insurances, we will always do our best for you.
I absolutely Dr. Buechel. He has the best bed side table manner of any doctor I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot of doctors. He takes the time to explain every thing that is going on with you. And his nurse Devin is a wonderful person as well. You can tell he really loves and cares for his patients he is seeing before the doctor sees them. I saw Dr. Buechel for about 2.5 years. During that time, I thought I was having simple partial seizures - something I fit every symptom of. He decided I had migraines, and tried to treat migraines. I did not tolerate the meds very well, so he just kind of told me it was migraines with aura and left me alone. Eventually I was diagnosed from a normal eye appointment and a followup with a neuro ophthalmologist with Intracranial Hypertension (too much csf) and was put on a low dose of lasix by Dr. Buechel. He has the best bedside manner of any doctor we have ever had. His smile fills the room, and I know he is giving my husband, with dementia, the best care possible. Could never have picked anyone that we trust so much.
I just wanted to stop by and share my experience with this amazing physician. He is truly a God send to me and my family. He is by far one of the most caring and genuine persons I know. His faith is evident and always has my best interest in trying to help with all my issues. I appreciate and am so grateful he is a part of my healing process. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Dr. Buechel is an excellent neurologist. He takes a keen interest in his patients. He listens to to his patients and tries to involve his patients in their treatment plans.
Dr. Buechel has been my neurologist for several years now and he is the BEST! He is highly skilled and trustworthy, and always takes the time to explain everything about your diagnosis, care, and treatment. He is attentive and thorough and helped me recover from my previous neurologist who tapered me onto medicine at a dangerous level after being off of meds for 10 years. Dr. Buechel is a very kind man, and his whole team goes above and beyond to deliver excellent service every time I am there!
