My vidits with Dr. Babikian was very enjoyable. He is not only a good Dr, he also tolerates teasing. I always get nervous when seeing a new Dr, but he put me at ease. If needed, I would not hesitate to have him treat me.
Dr. Babikian was polite and listened to everything I had to say. He was very thorough in reviewing my records and explained everything in easy to understand language. Also, I was late to my appointment and he didn't have to agree to see me but he did anyway, which is very rare. The most important thing to note is that if you are even 5 minutes late the office will cancel your appointment so don't bother showing up late. You are better off to just call to reschedule rather than drive all that way to not be seen.
My husband was referred to Mercy Ruan and Dr. Babikian was who got assigned to him. Doctor doesn't care about my husband or his diagnosis. Won't return calls even after events for 2-4 weeks. Anytime we call to report an event we get told they are short staffed as if it's our fault and made to feel ashamed for even attempting to call. DO NOT RECOMMEND RUAN OR DR. BABIKIAN!! EDIT:received reply to call or message patient care bc they are "very concerned" about my experience..total joke bc I already sent a message through their... read more
I have only had one visit with Dr. Babikian . I found him very thorough. He ask a lot of questions and listened well. He was very pleasant and informative .
I have been seeing Dr. Babikian for years. Most visits go well and I feel he has time to go over all my concerns. I don't know if it is because I am now an established patient, but I remember the visits used to be more brief. I have a seizure disorder and migraines, and he is always open to trying new therapies and medications when the ones I am on currently stop working. (Not to play into stereotypes but) I am a cis male, in my 40s and can usually assert myself if I feel I'm not being heard, but I could see how some may fee... read more
No empathy for my daughter who is mentally disabled. Gave us 5 minutes to get her into his exam room. Then after 2 minutes, decided he would not see her. Very disappointed in his lack of compassion and understanding.
I have been in the care of Dr. Babikian for over 20 years for epilepsy. He has listened, explained and diagnosed to my highest levels of expectation!
I have gone to Dr. Babikian for several years, and have been very pleased. He never seems rushed, and always listens to me. I would highly recommend him.
Run! He is ego centered Seems to think so highly of himself there is hardly any room for patients questions. Ive met a lot of doctors but none with more of a God complex. It was emotionally disturbing visit.
