I am so thankful for Dr. Smith. He is kind and really listens to your concern. I went to him with lower back pain which was persistent for almost a year and worsened during certain activities. He was able to identify my back pain was different. He ordered the correct tests, scans, lab work, and eventual referral to a Rheumatologist. This led to my autoimmune diagnosis, axial spondyloarthritis and positive HLA B27 gene. I am young for my new diagnosis and it usually takes many years and many tests for it to be diagnosed.
