He operated on my ankle and pre-op and post-op were both excellent. I wish I had researched more on what would happen during the operation and after. He is more than willing to answer questions, but I hadn't known what to ask. Pleasant man and great doc.
My sister got in a golfcart accident and had major wounds to her ankle and leg. He basically told her she will be fine and did NOT clean her at all. She ended up going to another doctor and had to get her leg debrided and skin grafts put on because he neglected to clean the wounds.
Dr. O'Neill repaired my wive's torn anterior tibial tendon. I appreciate how well he attended to her needs in making the repair, and he was completely honest about the recovery period being long. Post-surgery was painful, but the home-care was amazing. Great attention was paid to us. Kudos to your nurse for her kindness, smiles, and prompt call backs when we needed it the most. The four stars due to office visit wait times and some calls not being returned promptly by the general office staff.

My mother had this man as a doctor. He is a ma. that likes to pick on old ladies when their pain medication wasn’t perfect and they call to correct. She was told it was “inappropriate to call his office”, in post-op, while in pain. He then proceeded to shread an old lady over the phone for five minutes. This is a man who needs major surgery as a patient. Avoid him.
I can’t understand the negative comments. Dr. O’Neill was extremely pleasant and cordial. He explained my options and made his recommendations. I am 74 years old and have seen many doctors in my life. It was a pleasure meeting this orthopedic foot and ankle specialist. I enthusiastically recommend him.
I had a hideous experience with Dr. O’Neill. He was rude, condescending, and unhelpful. I contacted June at his office to complain, but two months later, she has not returned my concerned email. Stay away!
One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a physician in all of my 87 years. He was cold, angry, terse and overweeningly arrogant. His staff, however, was very competent.
Dr. O'Neill operated on my foot. Not only was he totally competent but took the time to explain the procedure for me and let me know I would be three months in recovery. He is very modest for such an outstanding surgeon. Will take the time after the three months are over to give you an overview of what to expect. He is very low key and kind.....would definitely go back if I had another issue with my foot or ankle.
