I went to Mercy and ended up with a heart procedure from Dr. Hourani when I had Pancreatitis. Procedure was NOT necessary and this doctor totally lacked a bedside manner, rather cold and unhelpful. I do not recommend this doctor.
Dr. Hourani has been exceptional with his responsiveness, care, thorough guidance and up to date skills. His kindness and patience puts me at ease. I trust him fully. Consider yourself fortunate if you are treated by him.
As a physician myself, I have seen other cardiologists and chose Dr. Hourani to treat me. He is very understanding, caring and has extensive knowledge in the filed of cardiology. His staff are cooperative. His office environment is very comfortable and not rushed. I recommend him highly for general as well as specialized cardiac treatment.
It has been just over 1 year since Dr. Hourani performed my cardiac catheterization, double stent placement / LAD. I feel great! Once again, Thank you...
This guy has a stellar reputation. Yet for some reason his help in my case was not just bad it was counter productive , dangerous and would up costing me time effort and money for NO REASON. I have NEVER written a bad review about a Dr before. It is simply incomprehensible why this gifted Dr. allowed this. Literally the adjustment to my meds RAISED my bp instead of lowering it. Raised it so high it was in the stoke zone. Despite repeated calls 5 days in a row from my nurse , myself and the hospital noting was done for 5 days... read more
