I attended PHC from 2001-2005. I have a few complaints and concerns from my time there, but I still think it's an excellent school. I am a tad bitter I never got to experience the incredible dining hall/gym/library/recreation center that current PHC students enjoy, though. :-)
Fantastic faculty who care about students and invest in them! Very convenient location, close to DC with excellent relationships with various DC organizations and government offices. A little expensive, but well worth it in terms of the quality of education, which far surpasses that at any other liberal arts colleges I've looked at.
Absolutely loved my education there. I learned how to think critically from my professors, how to lovingly care for others from the staff, and how to humbly live alongside fellow human beings from the students. The friendships and learning I gained from this school is the best thing that ever happened to me, and I am eternally grateful for that opportunity. Given a chance to do it over again, I would only apply to PHC for college.

While at Patrick Henry, I built friendships which I hope will last a lifetime. The classical liberal arts education taught me how to reason through what I believe and not rely on someone else to give me my opinions. It also developed the tools I needed for graduate school.
