I started attending PHC the second year that it was in existence, 2001-2005. In those years, PHC was a tiny school going through some growing pains but I would highly recommend it. The professors really challenged me to think through issues deeply and were willing to invest heavily in their students. The administration was also accessible and willing to invest in the lives of their students. PHC is an excellent college with ivy-league standards for education, well-respected and engaged faculty that you can truly learn directly from, and a competitive yet welcoming student body and community. I was very grateful for the education I received during my time at the college, both formally and informally.
When I was considering my college options, I looked for a Christian school where I would have focused attention from faculty and a challenging, well-rounded degree that could equip me no matter where God would lead me in my career. I found those at PHC and I was not disappointed. I have taken courses at two other colleges, and I can say with confidence that the faculty here are top notch. I'm incredibly grateful for the education I received at PHC. It was formative to my intellectual and spiritual development and has influenced my work in foreign policy. If I could do undergrad all over again, I would choose PHC every time.
