Dr Dillawn explained what I should expect from the surgery throughly. The surgery was very successful and two weeks out all is well

Dr. Dillawn was my surgeon for emergency abdominal surgery. I was entirely satisfied with everything he did for me. I was grateful! He is a very serious professional, and it was obvious he cared for my concerns at every stage. I would trust and request Dr Dillawn any day.

I had eating problems and digestion problems. Evaded discussion. It just blew me off. He left the practice he was at. When I tried to make an appointment, I had to hunt him down. Found him practicing at Seton Hospital in Round Rock, TX. Again blew me off on my dietary problems. Also, I had to find another doctor to refill my prescriptions. I would not recommend him if he were the last doctor on earth.

Our family has had a horrible experience with this doctor. He performed my mother's gastric bypass surgery 9 years ago. She has had substantial difficulty with the bypass and significant trouble with absorbing protein. When she went to see him to troubleshoot the issue, he was abrasive, dismissive, and generally unhelpful. Now she's having more difficulty and needs surgery. His first response? Refused surgery due to not having seen her recently enough. Huh? Do not recommend this guy. Not sure about his work, and his attitude... read more

I see that Dillawn is teaching now. This is good. Anything to get him out of the surgery! He makes mistakes. Do not go to him for surgery. I would not send anyone to him. I make sure to say his name in the negative to anyone I know who is planning on having surgery anywhere in Texas. Try another surgeon.

He almost killed me by perforating my esophagus. Go to someone else. He doesn't care about you.

Dr. Dillawn is an outstanding surgeon. His professional manner is tempered by his caring demeanor and his patience and willingness to listen to and answer every one of our questions and concerns. I trusted him with my life and would do so again without hesitation.

I had my Gallbladder removed on April 22, 2016 by Dr. Dillawn. The entire experience was much easier than I anticipated it would be. I healed very quickly (it was done orthoscopically) and had no post surgery infection. Dr. Dillawn was very professional during all my interactions with him. The staff at the Williamson County Surgical Center were also very professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Dillawn to whomever requires surgery.

A very confident and professional surgeon! I felt in great care from beginning and throughout. Think he should get more recognition as he is a wonderful doctor.
