As a patient for over 18 years of your facilities, I would like to inform you that the quality of service to your patients has dropped tremendously. We are all adjusting to the new norm of living with this Pandemic. This does or should not effect the quality of service we receive. We are on HMO plan, and needed to change our son's doctor. I call to see an earliest appointment is available and was told yes, lots of appointment available. I take all the trouble to change the dr and after wasting an hour with BCBC and PIH representative, I get to know my only option is an appointment on 30th June at 2.20 pm. I searched until I found one I like... It did take a couple changes to do so..... most of them seem like they have a script to follow with no leeway at all. I like my doctors but haven't had to have a hospital stay yet and not sure I want too... hope it's better than it was a few years back.... they need to offer some functional integrative style doctors who help us naturally and organiclly and get to the root of the problem rather than stuff us full of meds.
Medical procedures overpriced and billing explanations are awful. Glad to have moved away.
my Mother has been sick for months and for some strange reason PIH can't get her better. Multiple hospital stays, in fact shes being admitted tonight . last stay was 13 days and mist of that was in Cardiac wing and not once did her Cardiologist come to see her. she's had an internal bleed for months and they can't seem to find it. PIH is allowing my Mother to DIE! slowly.
They really pay attention to what you have to say. I really enjoy the fact that they don't seem distracted when you share the reasons why you are there.
The Wound Healing Center Staff is doing an Awesome job of keeping Patients safe and out of the hospital!! Thank you! #PIHWoundHealingCenter
