Worst experience I have ever had with a walk in medical center. The place looks like a wreck. I was taken into a room where I waited over an hour to see the doctor. I wish I would have gone anywhere else but here.
Everyone, drs. nurses, pa's, even the receptionist at the MAHAN location has such terrible breath, your chief complaint could easily change to nausea, if you've come in with a sprained finger!!! They are expensive, and totally inefficient. They close before the time posted on the door, but maybe we're lucky. Please stay away, but if it is a last resort, take a clothespin for your nose, and a big wad of cash. The only good thing about this place, is you just might forget what you came in for, as you will be so upset and disgu... read more
I went in because of a knee injury to Patients First on N. Monroe St. across from Lake Ella. The attending physician told me that my knee was not fractured after the x ray. Then three days later a nurse calls me and tells me that the radiologist had later diagnosed it as a fracture. I went to pick up the cd of the x ray and report and the report was completely opposite from what the nurse had told me. The report said essentially that the knee completely healthy and had no fracture I spoke to the head nurse later after discov... read more
I have used patients first for 5 years off and on when feeling I'll.y last visit was the worst treatment I've had in 40 years. I went in for high blood pressure and was told there was nothing they could do and to go to the hospital. They charged me 145.00 and sent me on my way. I can understand admitting something is beyond your expertise but to charge 145.00. They have never been great but this was ridiculous. I would take this review to heart because believe u me i don't write reviews.
Thinking that my medical care would be more private in a private facility, I went to Patients First with my roommate on May 15th, to have post surgery stitches removed from my chest. The attending doctor told me to take off my shirt and bra, never leaving the room or offering me a gown. He asked how much my surgery had cost. After I answered, he commented about how expensive that was and he told my roommate that for that price he shoud have done two for one... He made an important decision in my life crude and ugly.
Today (8/6/08) I came to Patients First off of Appleyard Drive across from Tallahassee Community College. I entered the premises at 9 a.m. exactly and was greeted when I came in. I filed my insurance and the lady at the front counter was very nice. That’s about where the compliments stop. After filing, I waited patiently with three other individuals for over an hour before the nurse came, which I know is not out of the ordinary, but still relatively long. I was ushered to the back by the nurse at around 10:20 and was examine... read more
