First and foremost Dr Clarke explained my condition and treatment options in relatively layman’s terms but did not treat me like an unintelligent person incapable of understanding my condition. He took the time to explain what could and couldn’t be done and the pros and cons (potential benefits and risks) of each treatment option. This pain specialist produced a terrible result injecting me to stop nerve pain for inguinal hernia operation pain which was recovering and not that bad. His injection made it significantly worse, doing far more damage than what I was suffering which was in the process of recovering. His response was appalling telling me not to bother his staff unless I needed to go to Emergency due to the pain he caused. I was literally shouted at wonderfully by the Doctor on the phone. He could not explain why he was so upset. After almost a month of 'triage', I was called by the legendary doctor and given less than 5 minutes to explain my pain intricacies. He couldn't figure out a way to save face and provide care so opted to ignore my requests. Strongly advise you try the next one, unless you enjoy dealing with arrogant and poorly organised bullies.
