Honestly, I’m furious. I took my teenage daughter to see Dr. Smitha Bhandari because she’s been struggling with depression, and I thought we’d finally get some real help. Instead, Dr. Bhandari completely dismissed everything my daughter said like her pain didn’t matter. She acted like it was no big deal, just typical teenage drama. It was infuriating to watch. My daughter finally opened up, and instead of support, she got shut down.
I felt completely dismissed. The psychiatrist barely looked up from their notes and didn’t listen to what I was actually saying. I left feeling worse than when I came in.
Waited over an hour past my appointment time. No one apologized. Felt like my time wasn’t respected at all.
No issues with the care itself, but very disappointed with billing. We were aware they don't take insurance going into it. $600 for our son to be evaluated. We were initially disappointed with the "results" given during a phone call several weeks later. The results were that she couldn't make a recommendation and he would need more testing and that they do not do that testing there. OK, that's frustrating, but what really got us upset...
