She never followed-up after X-rays; I’ve never even seen them nor found out what they showed. I’ve attempted calling, over and over again, but calls were never returned. There’s only one other rheumatology group in Tallahassee and I wouldn’t recommend them either. I’m now going to one in Valdosta.
From the moment I walked into Dr. Pooja Patel’s office, I knew I was in great hands. The office staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. Dr Pooja Patel doesn’t care about you or your feelings or anything. Quick to order Labwork at every visit! Does not matter how much you are suffering, she holds your pain medication until you go to the office to see her and even when she knows that your pain level is high she has to control you and with no sympathy! Avoid her at all costs!!!! I very much appreciate and respect Dr. Patel. She helped get me out of a constant pain cycle when others had failed to do so. Dr. Patel has worked hard to manage the transition from being a part of a larger medical group to managing on her own. Tallahassee is a tough town to find medical staff (Nurses, PAs, even doctors) so she's had to put in a ton of extra hours to maintain her patients.
