We came upon this little shop in Homewood today and let me just say .... Delicious isn’t the only words I would use to describe the flavor of this delightful treat. It was beyond anything we’ve every eaten. We live to eat cake. We are hooked. The staff are the nicest people who welcome you with such a “ welcome home” southern hospitality. I must start with saying that the owners of Pastry Art Bake Shoppe are amazing people! That alone is comforting in knowing the care that is going into their baking. Then there is food. Truly incredible homemade from scratch every time. Pastry Art Bake Shoppe is THE place for any event that you have upcoming and it will not disappoint!
The little cakes are absolutely decadent and the perfect size. We picked up a dozen and I would highly recommend them. The shop was very cute and the staff were friendly. I will definitely be returning should I return to homewood. We loved the experience! ❤️

Not only do they offer the best made from scratch cakes, they have the best service. Carol, Dennis and the rest of the team are all so kind and friendly it really makes every cake a special experience.
Oh my goodness haven't had a moist cake in years! well worth the drive from home. so good I bought 4 dozen my 1st time trying it. ladies are super sweet and gives you that southern hospitatily that most businesses lack. all flavors are my favorite. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I shall return on my next visit home.
