Family Dental Care is subpar since she is a one person show with no other dentists.... her incentive, especially since she has the new bldg to pay for, is to get em in and get em out with a rushed diagnosis....she misdiagnosed my tooth pain as needing a root canal, I went to another dentist and he correctly diagnosed bruxism and I got a mouthpiece and no more pain. She also did a crown only without a root canal when she said my tooth was cracked, 2 days later my gums were swollen right above the area where she did the work. ... read more
Pass-Dudley Patricia Dds - Family Dental Care is average I've been to a litany of Dentists ranging from General to Maxiofacial Surgeons - Patricia Pass Dudley is a rather unassuming dentist (by that I mean that she is a little shy perhaps) who needs to work on her chairside manor but all in all does an "ok" job. Excellent Service / Wonderful Practice! I am a teacher in Walton County and have very high standards as it pertains to customer service and excellent service provision. Dr. Pass-Dudley's office is incredible. Patients are greeted immediately upon entering the office with warm and welcoming hospitality. I was seen within five minutes of my arrival. RIPPED OFF....THE OFFICE MANAGER DOES NOT KNOW WHAT SHE IS DOING!!!! RIPPED OFF!!!!!!!So, I am new to Georgia and had my husband take my children in for their exams and cleanings in April 09. We have insurance that covers 80% and services does not count towards our deductible, we were expected to pay our deductible up front plus our 20% coinsurance which came to $200+. I agree !! As a former employee of the office, I know how bad the service is. I, on several occasions, stated that patients were complaining about the wait, the services rendered and the unprofessional manner that the were treated by the Dr and the assistant. I would not recommend to anyone to go to this office. Patients complain about 7 out of 10 fillings done, the temp crowns falling off before they get outside to their cars, and how long they have to wait. My experience is not far from the others... I went in for my initial visit and first cleaning. And like the other reviews, I arrived early expecting to fill out paperwork and get back on time. An hour later I am still waiting. I finally get taken to the back. No cleaning, a couple of xrays and a dull visit from Dr. Dudley later, I was leaving having to make a separate appt. just to get my teeth cleaned. It was a waste of my time.
Not Good with Kids I was very unhappy with the multiple experiences I had with my children at this office. One dental hygenist in particular mocked my child. Telling her not to be a cry baby! Of course I didnt find out about the incident until after the appointment and marched back in the office and let them know how unprofessional they were. It is scary enough for kids going to the dentist that we don't need bullies in the office!
I should have listened! The 2 previous reviews were quite accurate. The best part about our visit was walking out the door to our car. Our appointment was at 4, we arrived at 3:40, in case we needed to fill out paperwork. Did they even provide us with any paperwork? NO! I was asked TWICE why we were there. I told her TWICE why, a first cleaning and exam for a young child. We finally get back at 4:45 and then we get a hygenists opinion of the child. So Disappointed This office is so unorganized. Yes, it is a new office, but the service is below pityful. This doctor must be cheap, because she has no front desk person. The two ladies who were there, who knew what they were doing is no longer there, which is a mystery. Two people don't just leave at the same time. I gave whoever answered the phone my insurance information, and this person didn't have any idea of how to confirm my plan, no experience at all.
