My mom has a brain tumor and has seen several different specialists and we have loved Dr. De Santis. He has taken the time to explain her conditions and has been thorough in testing and treatment and has been patient answering all our questions. Our only concern has been trying to get through to his office when we have questions as the Baptist "email" system is not reliable or personal and we wish we could reach a person/ nurse when we call. Very knowledgeable, thorough.
If you are a Testosterone patient do not waist your time going there, he will make you stay off prescription for two months to see if your body produces T, even if your labs results shows low T he will not prescribe you Testosterone, he will give you Clomid and if your insurance does not covers it you will end up seeking another endocrinologist... three months lost doing this experiment...
Severe lack of capacity for critical interpretation and situational delineation from the "script". If the Endocrinology Association of XX told him the recommended guidelines were to jump into a meat grinder, that would be his prescription. I went in for hormonal corrections, showing multiple symptoms, both inward (subjective) and outwardly expressed (observable). He tried to convince me I was depressed and to see a psychologist. A real quack job.

I have been a patient of Dr. De Santis for several years before his move to Baptist. I have followed him there after trying to adjust to the care in his previous office. His level of care and my trust on his care are way above what I have experience in the past.

It took me a while to track Dr. De Santis down, since he has left Cleveland Clinic and works for a division of Baptist, but once you've seen him, no other endocrinologist will do. He's smart, humble and really easy to work with. I would call him a "doctor's doctor." In any case, doctors like him are quite rare. If you need a great endocrinologist, he's your guy. No doubt.
Great doctor!!!Thourough and caring. He took time explaining everything and answered all questions. His staff is very good too. They call me to notify lab results and let the doctor know if I have questions, then they call me back with the answers
Dr De Santis is very dedicated. Very knowledgeable, personable and committed to your health. My A1C was out of whack 13.2 and paying attention to his suggestions and instruction now is 6.4
