Took my Ranger in for service & repair around the 1st of September. Got a call on 9/16 with a list of repairs. They said it would take a week to get the parts, and a few days to complete. Called them on 10/1 to check to see if it was ready, and they said they just go the parts in and that I could pick it up on Saturday 10/3. Called to make sure it was ready on 10/8, and was told they were still waiting on parts?! Spoke with the service manager, and he promised that all would be complete on 10/15 or 10/16. While we are sorry that a lack of communication was created this situation, the reason the work had not been done is that a CV boot that was needed was backordered with no ETA. We sourced one from a dealer in Denton as no other local shop had one. The CV boot was received yesterday, 10/15/15, and the work can now be finished, however, the tech who had started working on your Ranger is on vacation and will return after the weekend on Tuesday. Hopefully this explains why there was a delay. We should have made this information ... read more
