I am a CMC-A licensed contractor. Plumber/Gas fitter. Called to get a thermostat for my house. Before the guy that answered the phone would answer any of my question about a thermostat, he asked me if I had an account there. I said no. He said we dont sell to the public. We only sell to contractors. Up to this point I had only said I was a plumber. I did not mention if I was a contractor. So I informed him that I am a CMC-A licensed contractor.
