Writing a review 20 years later because that's how bad my experience was. Dr. Wood was my pediatrician and my mom took me in to get my thyroid tested after I had gained 50 lbs in a year at 10 years old. To be fair, my mom didn’t know much about nutrition and fed us a lot of junk, but when my bloodwork came back normal, Dr. Wood could’ve handled the situation with a lot more care. The wait time was terrible. I arrived 25 minutes early for our scheduled appointment, but still had to wait another 45 minutes to see the pediatrician for a routine annual physical exam.
Our daughter was provided a level of exceptional care for 18 years at Partners in Pediatrics. She had some very challenging years from birth to 3 and Dr. Blakeney and the entire care team always went above and beyond to problem solve and listen. As a child, adolescent and young woman, this practice always was responsive, intelligent and compassionate when addressing my daughter's medical needs.
