We had lunch at Parrain's. The food was wonderful, especially the crawfish/crab dip with toasted garlic bread. Our waiter provided excellent service.
Best seafood meal I have ever had in Baton Rouge. I had the andouille encrusted paneed fresh fish. Delicious! The cole slaw was possibly the best that I have ever eaten. The two waitresses that attended to our group were attentive, efficient, and very sweet.
Yumilicious Cajun cuisine! We enjoyed every bite! Geaux there, you'll not be disappointed.
The pasta was great but the oysters were not! They were gritty and under-broiled. They had no flavor at all. I won’t make that mistake again. The atmosphere of the place, especially being on an LSU game day, was a blast tho! We sat at the bar and had great service from the cooks and every waitress except our own.

I took my sister and my nieces(1 1/2 months and 1 year old) to dinner, the service was great! Not only did we get seated pretty quick, but our server had a thorough knowledge of the menu, which was great for first timers like us. The food was AWESOME, I’m sure I’ll be back when I visit again!!!
One great place to eat. Servers very polite. Food so delicious.
It was just me and a friend. And I had a great time. But if you come with a group the service is bad so is the food
