Horrible waitstuff – First of all, I have never experienced a more rude wait staff in all my life. I've traveled all over the United States and the world, and not even a low-rent McDonalds could undercut this place on lack of service. poor management – The one good thing about this place decor.east side has only a couple of places like this,particularly east of Park Ave and they only opened up in the past two years.Food is above average (do not expect SW steak kind of quality but it's still pretty ok). Really a good experience, Well worth it. – I had a wonderful time on Wednesday night. The place looks really pretty. We were greeted warmly by two wonderful girls. Very comfortable. I went with 3 of my girlfriends on a girls night out. We sat in the lovely section which is a fantastic enclosed cafe apart from the rest of the dining room. Excellent Service and food. very satisfied! – My fiance and I went on Saturday night without a reservation. We live in the neighborhood, so wanted to give it a try. Worth the trip to the UES. – I came in last week with 4 friends and we weren't disappointed. 2 of them had the porterhouse with creamed spinach and twice baked potato. Perfect New Addition to the UES – The UES has been begging for a steakhouse that can compete with some of the mainstays like Wolfgangs, BLT and Strip house, and Parlor is it. Excellent Meal and Overall Great Experience – Its about time someone opened a steakhouse on the upper east side. Great menu, solid wine list, friendly servers and beautiful decor. I've dinned at all the top steakhouses in NYC and Parlor's filet is on the top of my list. The tenderness and flavor was awesome. I also enjoyed the pasta appetizer and chopped solid. My date doesn't eat meat so thankfully the menu had a nice selection of fish. We had a great time and will definitely be back.
Poor Neglectful Service – The one good thing about this place is the decor. Food is above average (do not expect BLT steak kind of quality but it's still pretty good). My experience was however tainted by the waiter who ignored us for 30 minutes while being overly attentive to the customers at the two tables next to us (mind, the two of us still spent over $200, not like we ordered just an appetizer).
