Had an open hole in the bottom floor for 2 months for a reason that was never explained to us, the living live tenants of the building. The bottom floor was a sauna (a broken water pipe? idk they didn't inform us) In addition rats started pouring in to our building, bubbling up from the very depths. The rats started to wander up the stairs. But no worries WC Smith, the landlords with the most evictions in DC, got around to it.
I've lived here for two years now and I love it. DC rent is insanely high, but here it feels affordable. Reasonable price for a ton of space! Location is amazing - right next to Adams Morgan, Mount Pleasant, and Columbia Heights, and the zoo. Management is incredibly kind, responsive, and prompt. Any time I had issues with my apartment, big or small, the amazing building engineer was there to find a solution.
