GO GO GO!!! – Le Parker Meridien was simply amazing. We could not have asked for a better location, being only a few blocks uptown from the heart of Times Square, and the hotel decor was incredible. The best part? Instead of 'Do Not Disturb' signs to hang on the door knob....they say 'Fugetaboutit'....We'll DEFINITELY be going back!!

Uptown Style, not UpTight – Le Parker has renovated it's hotel to a sleek Scandinavian style that works both functionally and fashionably. It really comes down to three things that I like at this hotel: the rooftop sundeck/42nd-floor pool with skyline views, modernistic breakfast at Norma's restaurant and the french bistro Seppis that offers cozy booths and good food. If your into high-level room quality for two or more, i recommend upgrading to the suites. The standard/superior size rooms are not that large and can be cramp... read more

Excellent. – Nice rooms at a reasonable rate. Suggest you try the, "Park view suites", offer very nice views of central park. Also take advantage of the pool on the top level. Some of the best views of the city up there.

Falling stars...all 4 of them! – I travel quite a bit, and I've stayed at many 4 and 5-stars hotels, a lot of which were in NY. I know 4-stars hotels...Le Parker Meridien was not a 4-stars hotel. "Restrictive" was the essence of my memory of this place. My husband and I were expecting a romantic weekend, but were distracted with locked-and-alarmed refrigerator, smaller than NY-standard bathroom and lounge-less facility. We didn't feel any warmth as was advertised. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for romantic-getaways.

Very nice hotel, great location. – We had a very nice stay at Le Parker Meridian. It is a little different, but that is part of its charm. We had a standard room on the 39th floor with a great view of Central Park (odd numbered rooms on or above the 26th floor view the park). I like to know what people paid: in our case it was $217 plus tax per night for a Friday and Saturday stay. The folks at the front desk were attentive and friendly, and the concierge staff was helpful with our inquiries. The rooms are somewhat smaller t... read more

mixed thoughts – i'm in the city weekly and generally stay wherever i can find the best price. found this hotel by using hotwire....weekend rooms for $130/night (plus tax). here's the skinny: the good: great central location, friendly staff, modern amenities including a flat tube TV and halogen lighting. the bad: room was very small (2 adults was the limit), bed wasn't so comfortable and the temperature control wasn't good at all. the verdict: hotwire says this place is 4.5 stars, which is pushing it....it's more like 3.5. i... read more

Three's a Crowd!! – A few bad things to be said about my room. The most horrible was I booked a room for 3 people with 2 double beds... To our dismay we walked in to find 2 beds that were oversized twins with just one big pillow on it!! I immediately called the front desk and they told me those were what they "considered" doubles. I asked about a cot and I could not have it due to fire regulations because the room was so small!!! PLus the bottom fo the tub was peeling!! I was disappointed! 3 is a crowd!!

Eat at Norma's – I love the Parker Meridien. The renovation looks great and the rooms are spacious. The rotating entertainment center is neat! When you leave your room, it just gets better. The hotel has one of the best fitness centers, and a wonderful rooftop pool. In the elevator, you can watch a cartoon or old movie while waiting for your destination. And you must eat your breakfast at Norma's. It's sometimes hard to get in (they don't take reservations), but well worth it.
